Two of Sandeep Malani’s films have been officially Selected for Screening at the prestigious 7th AKKA World Kannada Conference at Georgia, Atlanta, USA. The films are his award winning film Jo Jo Laali and the commercial success SMS 6260. Both the films end up with a strong social message.

Jo Jo Laali is a beautiful Kannada film of a single mother, a classical dancer, who discovers that her 4-year-old son born of a love affair has AIDS transmitted by her. The agony of her heart wrenching loss is portrayed through music and dance and the film ends on a note of positivity with a strong message for society.

SMS 6260 is a film for all age groups between 6 to 60 years. The film is about today's generation, the misuse of mobile phones and the consequences that occur due to it.

Jo Jo Laali stars Kalpana Pandit, Akash Hora and Shrey Tejani being produced by House of Pandit productions, while SMS 6260 stars Diganth, Janu, Smrti and Kiran and is produced by Shirdi Enterprises Inc. Both the films are produced by American Production Company. Sandeep Malani, has written the script and directed the films.

The film will be screened on 1st and 2nd September at the International Convention Center.
